...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN RALEIGH AND EASTERN
WYOMING COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM EDT...

At 1240 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Mullens, or 8 miles east of Pineville, moving southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pineville, Mullens, Coal City, Twin Falls State Park, Rhodell, Ghent,
Josephine, Maben, and Herndon.

This includes West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 28 and 32.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
