...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM THIS EVENING FOR STRONG
AND GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR MOST OF NORTHEAST KENTUCKY...

The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Red Flag
Warning for strong gusty winds and low humidity, which is in
effect until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* Timing...until 8 PM tonight.

* Winds...Southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 22 percent.

* Temperatures...Up to 86.

* Lightning...None.

* Impacts...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
