For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 102 expected. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and much of the lowlands of West Virginia. * WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT this evening. For the Heat Advisory, from 8 AM to 8 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This could be a prolonged heat wave, with warm, muggy nights providing little relief.
