029 FNUS71 KRLX 111114 FWSRLX Spot Forecast for Sunny Oaks Unit 11...Wayne National Forest National Weather Service Charleston WV 714 AM EDT Tue Mar 11 2025 Forecast is based on ignition time of 0800 EDT on March 11. If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... High pressure will promote dry weather for the next several days, with very mild afternoons. Highs will reach the 70s across much of the lowlands today and Wednesday, and then all of the lowlands for the balance of the week, with 80 degrees not out of reach in a few spots by Saturday. The warmer temperatures, dry conditions and gusty winds will pose a fire danger threat, especially this afternoon and evening and again on Friday when afternoon relative humidity values are expected to drop into the mid to lower 20s. A weak disturbance passing south of the area may bring showers Thursday, but there is a much better chance for showers, along with gusty winds and the chance for thunderstorms, this upcoming weekend, as a strong low pressure system tracks up through the Great Lakes. A widespread soaking rain could develop Saturday night. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny (0-5 percent). CWR.................0 percent. Chance of pcpn......0 percent.
