672 FNUS71 KRLX 291514 FWSRLX Spot Forecast for Tolliver...Virginia Department of Forestry National Weather Service Charleston WV 1114 AM EDT Sat Mar 29 2025 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1100 EDT on March 29. If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION... Unseasonably warm weather can be expected this weekend, both during the daytime and at night. While there is a small chance for a shower today, most locations will remain dry. The relative humidity could bottom out in the lower 30s later this afternoon. 20-foot southwest winds will generally be under 10 mph, but could occasionally gust to around 15 mph. A better chance for showers comes late tonight, as southerly winds bring moisture across the region. Showers and thunderstorms will affect the area at times Sunday into Monday, ahead of the next cold front. Thunderstorms late Sunday, Sunday night or Monday could be strong to severe. Winds will be a bit stronger on Sunday compared with today, but, with the better chance for rain, the minimum relative humidity will be higher. Drier and cooler weather takes hold for Tuesday as high pressure builds back in. More active weather is likely to take hold of the region by mid week with more severe potential. .REST OF TODAY...
