.DISCUSSION...
A high pressure system remains in control, providing mainly dry and
mild weather through tonight, with just the chance for an isolated
shower or storm across the higher terrain this afternoon and
evening. The chance for more widespread showers and thunderstorms
returns on Saturday and Sunday in advance of and along a cold front.
Another dry spell is anticipated for the beginning of next week
following the passage of the front, with cooler days and refreshing
nights.
