.DISCUSSION...
A system spreads widespread rain across the area through today.
There are some concerns for the potential for flooding, especially
in areas where snow remains on the ground along the mountains. The
snow pack in the mountains may be susceptible to flooding with the
additional rainfall expected into Saturday. Gusty wind will persist
today as well along with a nice warming to surely melt the rest of
the leftover snow across the lowlands. The potential for ice jams is
there and could occur along areas that may receive more than
expected rainfall on top of very warm temperatures expected today
which may result in the break up of ice.
Mainly dry weather can then be expected for Saturday and Sunday,
with above normal temperatures on Sunday.
