Shower and storm chances ramp back up today after a quiet stretch of
weather the past few days. This activity increases further for
Friday and the weekend, as a cold front approaches and then wavers
over the region. Strong storms are possible during the afternoon and
evening hours today and Friday. The main hazard is damaging wind
gusts.
Unsettled conditions persist through early next week, then a brief
period of drier weather is possible for most of the area mid week.
