.DISCUSSION...
A weak cold front will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms
across the area this afternoon into this evening.
High pressure builds in on Monday, with dry mainly weather, albeit
the day will begin with areas of fog and low clouds. It will not be
quite as hot Monday afternoon, although it will still be a bit
humid. Modest heat returns Tuesday, to go with the modest humidity.
There is just the small chance for the afternoon pop-up shower in
the mountains Monday and Tuesday.
A cold front moves into the area late Tuesday night into Wednesday,
but then stalls over the area through the balance of the week,
giving rise to mainly, but not exclusively, diurnal showers and
thunderstorms, the highest chance being in and near the mountains.
A stronger cold front may finally flush everything out by the end of
next weekend.
