...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 3 and
  6 inches across the north half of the Park, with higher amounts of
  8 to 16 inches for southern portions of the Park. Southwestern YNP
  including Pitchstone Plateau may see amounts of 1 to 2 feet.
  Accumulations around Mammoth and the Lamar Valley will range from
  1 to 4 inches.

* WHERE...Yellowstone National Park.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Backcountry travel could be very difficult with limited
  visibility.

  feet. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph at times.

* WHERE...Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains along with the Salt River
  and Wyoming Ranges.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, especially across Teton
  and Togwotee Passes.
