This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm are possible today.
The best chances for precipitation will be across western and
southern WY. A brief heavy downpour cannot be ruled out with any
storms that do develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday through Sunday...Increased chances for precipitation in
association with an influx of tropical moisture and a nearing low
pressure system. Precipitation chances shift over western WY by the
later hours Saturday through Sunday. Favorable flow and colder
temperatures around this time will lead to accumulating snowfall in
the higher elevations of western WY. Lower elevations of western WY
may see a transition from a cold rain to a wet heavy snow during the
morning hours Sunday. A slushy accumulation of a coating to an inch
cannot be ruled out across valley floors of western WY Sunday.

Monday...Cold temperatures look to linger behind the weekend
disturbance. Morning lows on Monday are currently forecast to be
below freezing across the state. Western WY may see lows in the upper
teens to low 20s with the remainder of the state seeing temperatures
in the upper 20s to low 30s.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
