This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Dangerously cold temperatures are expected across much of the state
this morning. Highs today will be well below normal ranging from the
teens to single digits with colder locations struggling to get above
zero. Breezy winds develop over portions of the state this afternoon
with periodic gusts of 20 to 30 mph, mainly in southern WY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...Morning lows Thursday will be dangerously cold across
much of the state. Locations with fresh snowpack may see temperatures
in the minus teens to minus twenties. Cold Advisories remain in
place for portions of the Bighorn Basin, Green River Basin, Jackson
Hole, Star Valley, and the Tetons for Thursday morning. These
locations are forecast to see windchill values of minus 25 to minus
35. Winds increase during the afternoon with strong gusty winds of 40
to 50 mph along the Wind Corridor from Casper to Rock Springs.

Thursday afternoon through Saturday...A Pacific system arrives
Thursday bringing widespread chances for snow across western and
southern WY. Lighter accumulations are expected across southern WY
with light snow showers lingering through Friday evening. Western WY
will see moderate to heavy snowfall that lingers through much of the
weekend. Western mountains are currently in a Winter Storm Watch due
to the increasing likelihood of storm total accumulations of 1 to 2
feet. Lower elevations such as Jackson Hole and Star Valley will see
light to moderate snowfall. Forecasted accumulations in these western
valleys look to range from 4 to 10 inches. Snow gradually dissipates
on Saturday across western WY with a brief break before a potential
second round of snow arrives Sunday.
