.DISCUSSION...

West to southwest winds will remain gusty today, reaching 15 to 20
mph with some gusts above 30 during the afternoon. Downvalley flow
will keep temperatures elevated during the day, with a high
temperature around 40 degrees. Some brief light flurries or drizzle
are possible during the afternoon.

Much windier conditions expected on Wednesday. West winds will be 25
to 30 mph, with frequent gusts above 50 mph during the afternoon.
Temperatures will be lower during the day, only reaching the lower
30s. There is a good chance for snow the entire day, with
accumulations of 2 to 3 inches possible by sunset.
