.DISCUSSION...
Clouds will increase through the morning with widespread chances
(40 to 70%) for showers and thunderstorms developing by the early
afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will be periodic through the
afternoon with another round expected to arrive by the mid to
late evening hours. Chance for wetting rains will range from 10 to
30% across the area today. Lightning is expected to be quite
frequent with any thunderstorms that develop. Winds are expected
to be light and from the north/northwest to start the day. As
shower and thunderstorms begin to develop this afternoon
widespread outflow gusts are expected. These outflows will likely
be capable of producing winds of 40 to 50 mph at times. Winds
shift to the south/southwest late this evening becoming light.
