.DISCUSSION...

Not much change in the forecast for Thursday. A slight warming and
drying trend will occur Thursday and continue Friday. Winds will
remain light in nocturnal downslope/downvalley drainage flows
through 1000 Thursday morning, then become westerly and increase
in speed. Gusts could reach 25 mph briefly at times during the
afternoon, but should generally stay around the 15 to 20 mph
range. These westerly winds will continue through around sunset
then quickly decrease, returning to light nocturnal
downslope/downvalley winds overnight. Friday will see a very
similar pattern with gusts more likely to reach 25 mph or perhaps
stronger, upwards of 30 mph, at times through the afternoon. RHs
both Thursday and Friday will drop to around 20 percent during the
afternoon, recovering to around 45 percent overnight. A very
similar diurnal pattern in both wind and RH will continue
Saturday. No precipitation is expected through Saturday.
