.DISCUSSION...The impactful winter weather will continue across
northwest Wyoming for the next few days as waves of energy in WNW
flow bring strong winds and moisture/precipitation at times. At
the burn site snow showers will continue through the day with only
and inch or so accumulation with temperatures just above freezing.
Winds will remain around 20 mph with gusts 35-40 mph through the
day. Both precipitation and wind decrease in the evening, with
snow returning to the burn site between 0200 and 0300 under weaker
northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph. The snow will continue at the
burn site until about 0900-1000 Wednesday morning, with gusty west
winds returning late morning of 20 mph and gusts 35-40 mph for the
rest of the afternoon.
