699 FNUS75 KRIW 300024 FWSRIW Spot Forecast for Vees...WY-WBD National Weather Service Riverton WY 624 PM MDT Tue Jul 29 2025 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0600 MDT on July 30. If conditions become unrepresentative, contact the National Weather Service .DISCUSSION... The pattern for the next several days could be characterized as one of a typical summer - morning sun followed by increasing clouds and scattered late day showers and thunderstorms. After a mostly sunny Wednesday morning, scattered showers and a few thunderstorms develop late in the afternoon and move east across the Bighorn Basin. The best chance for these to cross the fire site will be from 1600 to 2000 Wednesday. Cloud cover may be a bit slow to erode Wednesday night, so overnight lows are likely to be slightly warmer. Thursday is much the same with the best chance for showers and storms coming late in the afternoon into the early evening hours. ...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds... .WEDNESDAY...
