.DISCUSSION...
Light to moderate snow showers will continue this morning before
gradually tapering off during the afternoon. Additional snow
accumulation of 2 to 3 inches is possible today. Gusty north winds
will gradually decrease through the day, gusting to 35 mph in the
morning and around 25 mph in the afternoon.
Conditions will be much improved for Saturday, with nearly clear
skies and no chance for precipitation. Winds will switch back
from the southwest in the morning and will remain light around 5
mph. A few gusts around 10 mph are expected during the afternoon.
Light winds and cool temperatures will keep smoke dispersal poor
through the day.
