Another unsettled day across much of the dispatch area as shower and thunderstorms return this afternoon. Drier air has begun to funnel back into the region leading to min RH values ranging from 20 to 25 percent. This drier air may lead to some dry thunderstorms and virga showers especially across parts of zones 414 and 415. Chances for wetting rains will be low around zero for much of the area. Winds increase this afternoon becoming breezy around 15 mph with periodic gusts of 20 to 25 mph. Strong gusty outflow winds cannot be ruled out nearby developing showers or thunderstorms. Drier air will continue to work its way farther north through the weekend.
