...Yellowstone NP and Teton dispatch areas (includes fire weather
zones 140...414...415...and 416)...
Near elevated fire weather conditions are be possible across much of
the dispatch area today. Min RH values range from 10 to 20 percent
with winds remaining marginal. Isolated showers and thunderstorms
will be possible starting late this morning continuing through the
afternoon. Unfortunately dry air prevails leading to little to no
chances for wetting rains. A few strong gusty outflows will be
possible as showers and storms develop. These outflows may create
sporadic gusts of 30 to 40 mph. RH values improve by Wednesday with
values above 20 percent for much of the area. Chances for showers
and thunderstorms increase as well with parts of northern zones
seeing a 10 to 30 percent chance of wetting rains. Daily chances for
showers and thunderstorms persist through much of the week.

favorable likely remaining above 20 percent. Precipitation chances
range from 30 to 60 for most of the dispatch area with the best
chance for wetting rains being over northern zones. Winds will be
mostly light with the main concern coming from gusty outflows as a
result of convection. Outflows will be widespread during the
afternoon and evening with gusts of 30 to 40 mph possible. Isolated
gusts of 50 or more mph may be possible nearby any strong storms.
Precipitation chances increase for Wednesday and Thursday with
widespread chances for wetting rains especially across northern
zones.

dispatch area this afternoon and evening. Min RH values will be
favorable likely remaining above 20 percent. Precipitation chances
range from 30 to 60 for portions of the dispatch area with the best
chance for wetting rains being over northern zones. The only
exception to this will be zones 277, 278 and 279 where drier
conditions prevail. These zones will see lesser chances for showers
and thunderstorms along with min RH values around 15 percent. Winds
will be mostly light with the main concern coming from gusty
outflows as a result of convection. Outflows will be widespread
during the afternoon and evening with gusts of 30 to 40 mph
possible. Isolated gusts of 50 or more mph may be possible nearby
any strong storms. Precipitation chances increase for Wednesday and
Thursday with widespread chances for wetting rains especially across
northern zones. As mentioned earlier dry conditions persist across
zones 277, 278, and 279 where precipitation chances are not expected
to increase all too much through the week.
