Northerly flow aloft will usher in slightly cooler air Thursday
with daytime highs below normal by Friday. The passage of a
weather disturbance Thursday allows for gusty northwest wind
10 to 20 mph Thursday afternoon and evening. Any isolated showers
Thursday would be generally confined to Zones 414 and 416. Some
moisture creeps back into southwest Wyoming Friday afternoon
generating isolated showers and thunderstorms across mainly the
south half of the district.

A vigorous cold front begins to surge south through the Bighorn
Basin Thursday morning and reaches the Continental Divide by mid-
afternoon. North wind gusting 25 to 40 mph will occur following
frontal passage and it persists through the afternoon until sunset
Thursday. Any isolated showers Thursday would likely be confined to
Zone 288 and southern Zone 286. Daytime highs are coolest across the
north, while the south remains seasonal Thursday. All areas see
temperatures 7 to 10 degrees below normal Friday.

A vigorous cold front surging south through Johnson County Thursday
morning will reach the Continental Divide by mid-afternoon,
eventually pushing westward across Sweetwater County early Thursday
evening. North to northeast wind gusting 25 to 40 mph occurs
following frontal passage and it persists through the afternoon
until sunset Thursday. However, Zones 277 and 279 will see a gusty
northeast wind through Thursday night. Isolated showers are possible
over the south Thursday afternoon. Daytime highs cool slightly
