Snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches above 7000 feet. Along and east of US-395, a rain/snow mix is expected; snow accumulations will be less than an inch. Snow accumulations of 10 to 16 inches above 7000 feet. At lake level, rain at the start of the event changes to a rain/snow mix early Sunday morning through the afternoon. Lake level snow accumulations will be limited to an inch or less. Donner Pass could see 8 to 12 inches of snowfall total over the duration of this event. Ridge winds gusting as high as 50 mph, with gusts of 25 to 30 mph across the Tahoe Basin, bringing choppy lake conditions. * WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 4 PM PST Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible and could impact the Monday morning commute.
