...WINTER STORM WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM MONDAY TO 4 AM PST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet above 7000
  feet with 2 to 8 inches elsewhere. Ridge winds will be gusting as
  high as 90 mph.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...From 1 PM Monday to 4 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday
  commutes. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees
  and power lines due to the expected heavy wet nature of the snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest winds will be Tuesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

  feet with areas near the Sierra crest possibly receiving 3 feet or
  more. Ridge winds gusting as high as 90 mph.

* WHERE...Mono County.

* WHEN...From 4 AM Monday to 4 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday and Tuesday commutes.
