...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT STOREY AND SOUTH CENTRAL WASHOE
COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM PDT...

At 456 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Damonte Ranch, or 8 miles southeast of Reno, moving north at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, heavy rainfall, and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Areas along Veterans Parkway, Damonte Ranch, and Hidden Valley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
