...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT STOREY...SOUTH CENTRAL WASHOE
AND NORTH CENTRAL LYON COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM PDT...

At 1226 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lockwood, or 14 miles east of Reno, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, half inch hail, and heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Interstate 80 between Lockwood and Derby Dam and USA Parkway from
I-80 south to the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. If driving
on Interstate 80, consider delaying travel as heavy rain and hail
will decrease visibility and create wet roads.
