...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN MONO COUNTY THROUGH 200
PM PDT...

At 134 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Ancient Bristlecone Visitors Center, or 9 miles
southwest of Dyer. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Junction CA 266 And NV 264.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
