...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PLACER AND NEVADA COUNTIES
THROUGH 545 PM PDT...

At 516 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Northstar, or near Prosser Creek Reservoir, moving northeast at 10
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Boca Reservoir, Northstar, Glenshire-Devonshire Cdp, Hirschdale,
Truckee, Alpine Meadows Campground, Glenshire-Devonshire, and
Truckee-Tahoe Airport.
