...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PLUMAS AND CENTRAL LASSEN
COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM PDT...

At 447 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Antelope Lake, or 24 miles west of Herlong, moving
west at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds may increase wave heights rapidly. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Antelope Lake, Lone Rock Campground, Boulder Creek Campground, and
Long Point Campground.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

If on or near Antelope Lake, get out of the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 10 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
