Shower and thunderstorm chances will be focused south of I-80
along the Sierra mountains this evening. Look for periodically
breezy northerly winds through the valley locations, and breezy
downslope/easterly winds along the Sierra. Warmer temperatures and
decreasing humidities start Friday and continue into the first
half of the week as high pressure builds into the region.

Some showers and thunderstorms will continue through this evening
with best chances south of Highway 50. Wetting rains are a good
bet in the Eastern Sierra with good overnight humidity recoveries.
Overnight breezy downslope/easterly winds are also projected along
the Sierra Crest. High pressure builds into the region bringing
drier and warmer conditions through first half of next week.
