High pressure brings dry and warmer conditions through Thursday,
with the peak heat expected Friday. Thunderstorm chances return
Saturday afternoon with isolated dry lightning strikes that could
lead to new fire starts. Showers and storms will increase Sunday
and continue through the middle of next week with lower chances
for dry lightning, but increased risk for heavy rain.
