.DISCUSSION...
Southwest winds have been gusting around 40 mph today. Portions of
Pershing, Churchill, Lyon and S. Mono counties will see a few hours
of elevated to locally critical fire weather conditions during the
afternoon. Light showers (15-35%) are forecast for NE CA and along
the OR border today, lingering overnight. Cooler temperatures
moderate a bit tomorrow, followed by a warming and drying trend
starting Wednesday, and lasting into the weekend.
