.DISCUSSION...
Critical fire weather conditions are expected today across portions
of NE California and NW Nevada as a dry cold front produces gusty
SW-W winds combined with low humidity. Winds will shift to W/NW
Tuesday evening with higher RH recovery as cooler air filters into
the region. Breezy winds are expected each afternoon this week, but
increasing humidity will mitigate fire concerns. Well below normal
temperatures prevail from midweek onward with increasing shower and
thunderstorm chances Thursday into the weekend.
