.DISCUSSION...
Near record heat will continue today with Heat Advisories in effect
for portions of NE CA an NW NV. Thunderstorm coverage will increase
this afternoon and continue for much of next week. There is still a
slight chance for isolated dry lightning strikes possible outside of
storm cores, especially for areas north of I-80. Storms will trend
wetter into next week with increased risk for heavy rain and potential
flash flooding. Winds will remain generally light and terrain driven.
