.DISCUSSION...
Low chances of rain and isolated lightning persist overnight near the
OR border before increasing in the afternoon. Dry and breezy conditions
are expected this afternoon from the Sierra Front -- including the
Floriston Fire -- into the E Sierra. Light N/NE breezes return Friday
and Saturday with gusty E/NE winds along the Sierra crest. Warm and dry
weather prevails this weekend before chances of rain and storms increase
along the Sierra south of Tahoe Sunday into next week.
Note: Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds.
