concerns in Mineral and Mono counties through the afternoon...
.DISCUSSION...
Elevated fire weather conditions persist in Mineral and Mono counties
through the afternoon. Gusty winds become more widespread Friday, expanding
areas of elevated fire weather conditions across lower elevations in the
afternoon. A cold front will bring cooler temperatures and low chances of
rain and mountain snow late Friday into Saturday. A wetter storm is possible
early next week and may provide additional rain and mountain snow.
