.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will heat up through Saturday with Heat Advisories in
effect this weekend for portions of NE CA an NW NV. Thunderstorm
chances return Friday afternoon mainly south of I-80, with isolated
dry lightning strikes that could lead to new fire starts. Shower and
storm coverage will increase this weekend and continue through much
of next week with lower chances for dry lightning, but increased risk
for heavy rain and potential flash flooding.
