SOUTHERN SIERRA FRONT, SOUTHERN MONO COUNTY, AND THE LAHONTAN BASIN
THROUGH THIS EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...
Update: A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Southern Mono County,
the Southern Sierra Front, and the Lahontan Basin through 7 PM
tonight. Please see the Red Flag Warning product for more details.
Critical conditions are expected through this evening, driven by
strong southwest winds and relative humidities ranging from 15-25%
across the southern Sierra Front, southern Mono County, and the
southern Lahontan Basin. Periods of strong winds, rain, and mountain
snow are anticipated through early next week. By the end of next
week, cooler-than-normal temperatures and dry conditions are likely.
Note: Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds.
