from the Sierra Front into Mono and Mineral counties...
.DISCUSSION...
A dry frontal passage will allow gusty S/SW winds to overlap low RH
across the Sierra Front, and Mono and Mineral counties this afternoon.
The greatest fire threat resides in Mono and Mineral counties where
humidity is lowest. Showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely
this afternoon near the Oregon border. High pressure will bring warmer
and drier weather after Labor Day, with a low chance of showers and
storms in the Sierra south of Tahoe around midweek.
