THE SOUTHERN SIERRA FRONT, SOUTHERN MONO COUNTY, AND THE LAHONTAN
BASIN THROUGH THIS EVENING...
.DISCUSSION...
The Red Flag Warning continues as critical fire weather conditions
are forecast through this evening. Strong southwest winds and
relative humidities as low as 12-18% remain anticipated across the
southern Sierra Front, southern Mono County, and the Lahontan Basin.
Periods of strong winds, rain, and mountain snow are anticipated
through early next week. By the end of next week, cooler-than-normal
temperatures and dry conditions are likely.
Note: Thunderstorms imply gusty and erratic winds.
