...Forecast flooding changed to Moderate severity for the following
rivers in California...

  Susan River At Susanville affecting Lassen County.

For the Susan River...including Susanville...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The next statement will be issued Wednesday afternoon at 200 PM PST.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TOMORROW AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Susan River at Susanville.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Moderate flooding in Susanville...
  Johnstonville...Leavitt Lake...Standish and Litchfield.Susanville
  floods from Lassen Street downstream along Riverside Drive and
  from Cornell/River Street on north to Hood Street/Sunkist Drive on
  south. River up to bottom of Lassen Street bridge. Several homes
  along river have minor to moderate flooding. Many roads and
  bridges in Honey Lake Valley flood...moderate transportation
  impacts. Like December 2 2012...March 30 1974 and January 21 1969
  floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM PST Tuesday the stage was 13.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM PST Tuesday was 13.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.3
    feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    late tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...No available flood history.
