...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring
  along the Susan River between Susanville and Honey Lake.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast California, including the following
  county, Lassen.

* WHEN...Until 300 PM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Many roads and bridges including Highway 395 in Honey
  Lake Valley flood with impacts to transportation and rural roads
  in low lying areas along the Susan River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 723 AM PST, The flood wave is moving downstream of
    Susanville and will reach Honey Lake by this afternoon.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Standish, and Highway 395.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
