* At 634 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
  Goldston, or 9 miles north of Carthage, moving west at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Southern Pines, Carthage, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, Whispering Pines,
  Pinebluff, Robbins, Foxfire, Taylortown, and Highfalls.

Straight line winds can blow down trees, power lines, and damage
mobile homes and other buildings. Seek shelter in a sturdy structure
