  Wake County in central North Carolina... Johnston County in
  central North Carolina...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 554 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near
  Fuquay-Varina, or 8 miles south of Cary, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Raleigh, Cary, Smithfield, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Clayton, Angier,
  Apex, Holly Springs, and Knightdale.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
