...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WAYNE AND WILSON
COUNTIES THROUGH 815 PM EDT...

At 720 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pikeville, or 10 miles northeast of Goldsboro, moving northwest at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Wilson, Fremont, Lucama, Stantonsburg, Black Creek, Pikeville,
Saratoga, Sims, and Eureka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
