SAMPSON...SOUTHEASTERN HARNETT...CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN JOHNSTON
AND HOKE COUNTIES THROUGH 930 PM EDT...

At 833 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Snow Hill to 6 miles
north of Laurinburg. Movement was south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Goldsboro, Laurinburg, Clinton, Raeford, Fort Bragg,
Dunn, Mount Olive, Maxton, and Walnut Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
