...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN ALAMANCE AND
NORTHWESTERN ORANGE COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT...

At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Burlington, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Burlington, Graham, Hillsborough, Mebane, Gibsonville, Haw River,
Lake Cammack Park & Marina, Carr, Efland, and Glen Raven.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Doppler radar has indicated weak rotation with this storm. If the
storm intensifies and rotation strengthens, a warning may need to be
issued.
