...INCREASED FIRE DANGER TODAY FROM 10 AM UNTIL 6 PM...

The combination of low relative humidity values of 22 to 30
percent, ongoing drought conditions, dry fine fuels, and frequent
wind gusts up to 20 to 30 mph will produce an increased fire
danger across eastern portions of central North Carolina today.

Outdoor burning is discouraged. Please consult your local burn
permitting authorities as to whether burning is allowed today. If
you must burn, use extreme caution, as fires can spread rapidly
under these conditions.
