HALIFAX COUNTIES THROUGH 900 PM EDT...

At 806 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms over
Kittrell, Henderson, and Middleburg, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Henderson, Warrenton, Norlina, Littleton, Middleburg, Macon,
Gillburg, Afton, Steele Creek Marina & Campground, and Kerr Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
