...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN WARREN AND HALIFAX
COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 523 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Littleton to near Halifax. Movement was
southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Roanoke Rapids, Halifax, Scotland Neck, Littleton, Enfield, Weldon,
Macon, Arcola, Medoc Mountain State Park and South Weldon.

This includes Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 171 and 154.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.
