...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN EDGECOMBE AND
SOUTHEASTERN HALIFAX COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM EDT...

At 925 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Scotland Neck, or 13 miles northeast of Tarboro, moving southeast at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scotland Neck, Hobgood, Conetoe, and Speed.
