JOHNSTON AND WEST CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...
At 531 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wake Forest, or 8 miles northeast of Raleigh, moving south at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Wake Forest, Garner, Clayton, Knightdale, Rolesville,
Youngsville, Falls Lake State Rec Area, Lake Wheeler, and Flowers.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 295 and 310.
